This is an older property, but it's very nice. Our room was a nice size, immaculately clean, with a very comfortable king sized bed. The linens & towels were of good quality. From the door to the room, you can stand on the porch & watch the sun sink into the Sound. In the morning, you can sit on your balcony & watch the sun rise over the ocean! The room appears to have been freshly painted & the decor is very nice. The front desk was not attended when I checked out after 10 a.m. so I pushed the room keys under the partition, & I have to hope that was sufficient. When we checked in, we later realized there were questions we needed answers to, such as location of an ice machine, how to access the indoor pool, was there a vending machine, etc. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR to the 2nd & 3rd floors. So if you have mobility issues or can't see yourself lugging a suitcase up the stairs, request a ground floor room! We only took in what was needed for the evening. The room has a fridge, microwave, & s coffee maker. In all, this is a decent place to stay & for the rate we got, it was well worth it!

The view at this place is exceptional. The back balcony(which is private btw)overlooks the ocean & you can hear the waves from there. It's a bare bones, older hotel w/lots of charm but very little bells & whistles. The room was clean, good water pressure, very spacious w/a nice TV. The kitchen was older but usable. Appliances that I used worked well. The bathroom was clean.. For the price it was decent. The view from the balcony made it worthwhile to me. You can walk to the beach. They have 2 pools & an outdoor shower(not sure if the shower worked as it was March when I was there. Check in was easy & the guy in the office was pleasant. I didn't see much staff out & about but again it was the off-season.

Awesome view of the ocean and easy walk to the pier. We had a large room with a kitchen. It was great to be able to cook our meals and watch the sun set or wake up to having our coffee as the sun came up! Easy to check in and out. Short drive to restaurants and activities. Clean room and very comfortable bed with good size flat screen tv with plenty of channels. Indoor pool and hot tub ended our days with exercise and relaxation. The entire motel is kept spotless. Staff super helpful and friendly. This is the best motel for your money and vacation.

Had a nice view of the ocean from the 2nd floor, room 11. The balcony looking out at the beach had 2 comfortable chairs. The room had a small kitchen that provided the option of staying and having a meal. They're pet friendly without having signs of previous pets staying in the rooms. Also, there were chairs outside the front door of the rooms allowing street view and a bridge view off in the distance. This part of the beach is more family friendly, pretty low key. There is also nearby attractions for the family including parasailing.

The outside of the motel is in need of repair but my room was well maintained, clean, well equipped with full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, dishes and utensils. Of course the best part of the motel is the view of the ocean from the third floor where my room was (the view from the ground and second floors is obstructed by high sand berms) and ease to walking to the beach. And the sun rise is awesome.
